[Standalone] Virtual AP (VAP) Each VAP allows to set a unique SSID, VLAN, and security mode to have better control over broadcast and multicast traffic VLAN 1 VLAN 2 VLAN 1 Switch VAP 01 (SSID 1) VLAN 2 VAP 02 (SSID 2) Redirection for what? Can we do the certification

[Standalone] WDS The Wireless Distribution System (WDS) allows to bridge multiple networks wirelessly [Point-to-Multiple Bridge Mode] Associate with multiple LANs Central AP Connect two separate LANs through WDS [Point-to-Point Mode] In the point-to-point mode, the AP accepts client associations and communicates with wireless clients and other repeaters. The AP forwards all traffic meant for the other network over the tunnel that is established between the APs. The bridge does not add to the hop count. It functions as a simple OSI layer 2 network device. In the point-to-multipoint bridge mode, one AP acts as the common link between multiple APs. In this mode, the central AP accepts client associations and communicates with the clients and other repeaters. All other APs associate only with the central AP that forwards the packets to the appropriate wireless bridge for routing purposes. The UAP can also act as a repeater. In this mode, the AP serves as a connection between two APs that might be too far apart to be within cell range. When acting as a repeater, the AP does not have a wired connection to the LAN and repeats signals by using the wireless connection. No special configuration is required for the AP to function as a repeater, and there are no repeater mode settings. Wireless clients can still connect to an AP that is operating as a repeater.

[Standalone] AP Clustering Up to 16 APs clustering into a group Detect and monitor neighbor APs by both 2.4GHz and 5GHz radio One click for automatic channel assignment Automatic Channel Assignment Monitor Wireless Neighbors Admin. Channel 14 Channel 3 CLUSTERING Channel 1 Channel 2 Channel 7 Channel 6 Channel 11

[Standalone] Client QoS Control the amount of bandwidth by VAP Prioritize traffic by specific subnet or traffic categories, such as HTTP, FTP, SMTP, etc. Protect network by applying ACL rules Bandwidth Control by each VAP QoS Control by Policy Map Deny or Permit the traffic from/ to certain source 2.4GHz Policy -A VAP01 Incoming Packets Policy -C VAP02 Incoming Packets VAP03 Policy -B Incoming Packets 5.0GHz VAP04 Policy -E Incoming Packets VAP05 Policy -D Incoming Packets VAP06 Policy -B Incoming Packets
