Grain is one of the four food groups. Some grains are: barley, buckwheat, spaghetti, pasta, popcorn, oats, rice, soy, wheat, pizza and many more. Some of the nutrients found in grains are: water, protein, fat, carbohydrates, fibre, iron, calcium,vitamin A, B1, B2, B3, B6, D, E and, very strangely, no vitamin B12 or C.

Some grains can give you fiber such as:bran, whole meal bread and brown rice. Fiber helps you digest the food. If we don’t eat fiber we can get constipated. Bread and rice give a lot of carbohydrates. These foods are one of the best group foods. You should have six to eleven servings per day.

Ingredients 1 cup of milk 1 egg A slice of bread butter First you get the milk and the egg and you mix it. Next you put into the mixture the bread. Heat a sauce pan and add half teaspoon of butter. Let it melt and put the slice of bread, let it cook on both sides until it toasts. Finally put syrup and then it is ready.
