MY ROCKS AND WHERE THEY ARE FROM These rocks are from Swithland woods and New Zealand

HOW THEY FEEL The black rock feels rough, crumbly and uneven. The two smaller rocks feel a lot smoother and harder.

Appearance  The black rock looks like it has come from a volcano. It looks really interesting and makes me want to find out more about it such as how it was formed, if it was part of a bigger rock and what the tiny sparkly bits in it are. Maybe they are tiny crystals?  The smaller rocks from the woods look like they belong in a garden surrounded by twigs and leaves. They are brown and light brown with bits of grey and look quite pretty. These rocks are also interesting and I would like to find out more about them.
