Program structure The Associate Degree in Aviation (Professional Pilots) trains students for: General Flying Progress Test Private Pilot Licence Commercial Pilot Licence Air Transport Pilot Licence Choice between Instrument Rating or Instructor Rating Licence exams are conducted independently by CASA. Training provided for multi-engine aircraft as well as single. Total syllabus for Commercial Pilot Licence is 160 hours flying (minimum), exceeding the minimum 150-hour CASA requirements.

Entry Requirements Prerequisites Recommended 2014 Clearly-in ATAR: 52.55 Prerequisites Unit 3 and 4- at least 25 study score in English (ESL) or at least 20 in any other English At least 20 in Mathematics (any). Fees The 2014 annual program fee is $59,520. FEE-HELP Unlike non-University accredited flight training programs, RMIT Flight Training students can take advantage of FEE-HELP to offset the cost of the program. In 2014, FEE-HELP can cover up to $96,000 of program fees over the course of a student’s total tertiary education.
