3 S HOUSING (SITE, SERVICES, STRUCTURE). RURAL HOUSING 3 S HOUSING (SITE, SERVICES, STRUCTURE). RURAL HOUSING. AFFORDABLE HOUSING SOLUTIONS THERE ARE INCREASING NEEDS FOR HOUSING. THERE WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH MONEY TO BUILD CONVENTIONAL HOUSES FOR EVERYBODY. NEW SOLUTIONS FOR AVOIDING CUTTING TREES FOR HOUSE CONSTRUCTION AND BURNING BRICKS ARE NEEDED TO REDUCE DEFORESTATION. A TRADITIONAL AFRICAN HOUSE (EXCEPT THE WOODEN STRUCTURE) IS THE BEST IN AFRICAN CLIMATE. IT IS NECESSARY TO DEVELOP AND UTILIZE NEW STRATEGIES FOR URBANIZATIONS INCLUSIVE ESTABLISHMENT OF WORKING POSSIBILITITIES ESPECIALLY IN RURAL AREAS TO ATTRACT PEOPLE TO STAY AND LIVE THERE. THIS IMPACT WILL REDUCE THE PRESSURE ON BIG CITIES. THE STRUCTURE USED FOR RURAL AREAS CAN BE MODIFIED ALSO FOR TOWN URBANIZATIONS.

3 S HOUSING (SITE, SERVICE, STRUCTURE) 3 S HOUSING (SITE, SERVICE, STRUCTURE). STANDARD STRUCTURE MODIFIED FOR URBAN HOUSING. FLEXIBILITY IN MATERIAL USE. AFFORDABLE HOUSING SOLUTIONS 3 S HOUSING IS NOT ONLY A COMBINATION OF TRADITIONAL BUILDING TECHNIQUES AND MODERN TECHNOLOGY. IT IS ALSO AN ATTEMPT TO SOLVE PARTICULAR PROBLEMS: TO FIND SUSTAINABLE, AFFORDABLE HOUSING TO REDUCE CUTTING TREES FOR HOUSE CONSTRUCTION (FOR THE STRUCTURE AND BURNING BRICKS) CONSTRUCTION. LIGHT WEIGHT METAL STRUCTURE REPLACES WOOD (ROOF STRUCTURE, BURNING BRICKS). FLOOR OF STABILIZED SOIL, CONCRETE SLAB, VARIOUS SURFACES WALLS OF STABILIZED MUD BLOCKS, SEMENT BLOCKS ROOF OF THATCHING, BAMBOO MATS, BIO ROOFING, CORRUGATED METAL SHEETS THE CONSTRUCTION METHOD IS SIMPLE: SELF HELPED, SELV MANAGED

3 S HOUSING (SITE, SERVICES, STRUCTURE) 3 S HOUSING (SITE, SERVICES, STRUCTURE). ENVIRONMENTALLY SOUND DWELLINGS, FLEXIBLE IN SIZE. AFFORDABLE HOUSING SOLUTIONS 4 UNITS ARE PLACED IN ONE LOT, ON BOTH SIDES ON AN INNER COURT OR GARDEN FOR (OWN FOOD PRODUCTION). SEPARATE WATSAN UNITS ARE CENTRALLY LOCATED IN THE COURT OR GARDEN. A REASONABLE SOLUTION FOR PIPELINES. SEWAGE CAN BE UTILIZED FOR PRODUCTION OF BIOGAS. COOKING AREA IS CONNECTED TO THE COURT OR GARDEN. KITCHEN CAN ALSO BE PLACED OUTSIDE AS OPEN KITCHEN EACH HOUSING UNIT IS DIVIDED INTO LIVING ZONE AND BEDROOM ZONE WITH SEPARATE BEDS FOR GIRLS AND BOYS. THE GROUPING OF 4 UNITS IN ONE LOT AND THE RELATION BETWEEN COOKING AREA AND THE GARDEN EXHIBITS A HIGH DEGREE OF SOCIAL ACTIVITIES: COOKING, WASHING, DRYING CLOTHES, CHILDREN`S SAFE PLAY, GARDENING…..

3 S HOUSING (SITE, SERVICES, STRUCTURE). BASIC URBAN LAYOUT 3 S HOUSING (SITE, SERVICES, STRUCTURE). BASIC URBAN LAYOUT. AFFORDABLE HOUSING SOLUTIONS. BASIC LAYOUT PLAN INTRODUCES A POSSIBLE PRINCIPLE SCHEME FOR URBANIZATION WITH HIGH UTILIZATION OF AREAS. THE URBANIZATION PRESENTED SHOWS DWELLING UNITS CONSISTING OF LOTS FOR GROUPS OF DWELLINGS, POSSIBLE STREET SYSTEM, PUBLIC AREAS AND AREA FOR PUBLIC FACILITIES/SERVICES. A STREET SYSTEM ALLOWS ACCOMODATION OF THE LAYOUT PLAN TO ANY SITE. PUBLIC SERVICES ARE NOT PRESENTED HERE. 3 S HOUSING INVOLVES PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY WOMEN.

3 S HOUSING (SITE, SERVICE, STRUCTURE). HOW IT CAN BE LIKE 3 S HOUSING (SITE, SERVICE, STRUCTURE). HOW IT CAN BE LIKE. AFFORDABLE HOUSING SOLUTIONS. THIS PROPOSAL DOES NOT TOUCH ANY SITE AND SERVICE APPROACH. WE ENDORSE THAT THE STRUCTURE IS AN AFRICAN HOUSE` MAIN PROBLEM EITHER IN TERMS OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION OR ECONOMY. THEREFORE A REASONABLE STRUCTURE SHOULD BE CONSIDERED AS A PART OF THE SITE AND SERVICE CONCEPT AND PEOPLE SHOULD HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO ACHIEVE REASONABLE LOANS TO BE ABLE TO GET APPROPRIATE HOMES. 3 S HOUSING IS A REASONABLE SOLUTION. A BASIC COST OF THE HOUSE SHOULD NOT EXCEED 150 USD PER M2 (ROOF OF METAL SHEETS), IF PEOPLE`S OWN WORK IS TAKEN IN CONSIDERATION.
