VARIOUS COMPONENTS OF LADDERS Fly – The upper or top sections of an extension ladder or aerial device

VARIOUS COMPONENTS OF LADDERS Guides – Wood or metal strips on an extension ladder that guide the fly section while being raised Heat sensor label – A label affixed to the ladder beam near the tip to provide a warning that the ladder has been subjected to excessive heat
