Provides flexible account management and hierarchical structure within Netop WebConnect database Each customer using WebConnect can have their own Domain What are the benefits? More secure: Domains are completely separated from each other Ideal for Managed Service Providers supporting many customers Each Domain can have its own administrator Where are Domain details used? Domains details are entered as part of the WebConnect credentials when setting up WebConnect Communication Profiles in the Guest Ex and using the WebConnect credentials in Netop OnDemand Pack ’n Deploy

DECEMBER 09NETOP ONDEMAND – WHAT’S NEW IN VERSION 2.1? NETOP WEBCONNECT - OTHER 12 Setup and communication Private IP addresses – both Connection Manager and Connection Server can be configured on machines with static private IP ranges. Public facing IP addresses are still required for external access* Database location – the WebConnect database created by the Connection Manager is normally created on the local machine. This database can now be located on a different SQL server by selecting the Advanced (non-default) option during the database setup wizard Connection Server name - Host name (computer name) is now required when defining Connection Servers Delete accounts – both Accounts and Domains can be removed through the Connection Manager interface. Delete button will be available when logged on with Root Admin or Domain Admin privileges * In some environments, particularly if both Connection Manager and Connection Server are located in the same DMZ (Demilitarized zone), it may be necessary to configure the Connection Server to use the local IP address of the Connection Manager and not the FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name)

MISCELLANEOUS 14 When using the Chat feature, the text appearing in the end user’s Chat window is now wrapped to improve usability Confirm Access dialog can be disabled when configuring your OnDemand Host The Host ID attribute in Pack ‘n Deploy has changed from ‘Fixed identification’ to ‘Host name’. This attribute can also be left empty to identify the Host by their local IP address The icon used when the OnDemand Host is packed now uses the product logo and is a higher quality image When adding or editing Connection Server settings via the Connection Manager, the external address and Max load fields are now validated

MISCELLANEOUS The version and build numbers for Netop WebConnect are now displayed when accessing the Connection Manager through a web browser New popup windows are used to validate fields when creating new accounts The database wizard is started automatically after installing the Connection Manager. The database wizard is still also available as a shortcut in the Netop WebConnect folder When using OnDemand Pack ‘n Deploy to create new OnDemand Hosts, the setup wizard has been improved and now prompts for the WebConnect credentials When installing Connection Manager on Windows Server 2008, certain IIS components are required. The setup program will now notify the user to install these additional components if they do not already exist

DECEMBER 09NETOP ONDEMAND – WHAT’S NEW IN VERSION 2.1? MISCELLANEOUS When creating a new Netop OnDemand Host, the connection URL field will not be displayed upon running the Host if the URL field has previously been populated as part of the Host package If you use an older version of the Connection Manager with a newer WebConnect database, the user will be prompted to update to the latest version of Connection Manager

MISCELLANEOUS The installation directory and location of configuration data has changed in line with the product rebranding: Program data (x86) %programfiles%\Netop\Netop OnDemand Program data (x64) %programfiles(x86)%\Netop\Netop OnDemand Configuration data %appdata%\Netop\Netop OnDemand
