ONESTIN YOUTH ASSOCIATION

Brief History We established in 2005 from a desire to initiate and promote actions and activities with and for young people. Why? Because we want to communicate more easily with each other; Because we want to develop young people's human relations; Because we want major involvement of youth in cultural and social projects, both locally and at national and European level; Because we want the cultural and moral values to be known, preserved and promoted; Because we believe in young people and their ability to contribute to a better society.

For more than 9 years we conduct a series of activities for our youth in our city Onesti in order to cultivate common sense, to develop their civic spirit, teaching them to communicate and work in teams together to be the change that we want.

Onesti volunteers participate and organize activities such as voluntary eco - May planting, hikes and camps, winter competitions - snowmen, and so on. ONESTIN activities

Asociaia de Tineret ONESTIN 5 projects initiated and implemented European (Teach me your dance, Eurobridges, Youth in Action in Detention, Reach High, You and I !, Romania - Between myth and reality) participated as a partner in more than 60 European projects and youth exchanges local, regional and national level were initiated and implemented about 20 projects, of which 9 projects have become tradition, held annually. Through our involvement in many projects we have managed to give rise to a network of partnerships at local, national and international: Education institutions in the region where we are (urban and rural); Penitentiary institutions in Targu-Ocna; Local government bodies; Churches and other religious entities; Other local NGOs, regional and national; Publications and local radio and TV stations, websites of information; Various local companies ;

ONESTIN story goes on! ONESTIN’S YOUTH ASSOCIATION mission continues, and the center of attention is the personal development of young people, educating them through different methods of non-formal youth involvement in community development, contributing to the development of a stable and responsible civil society
