Total drug-related deaths and number of treatment admissions in the county were lower per capita when compared to other HIDTA areas and Oregon from 2006 to 2012, the most recent data available. Heroin comprised the largest number of related deaths and marijuana the largest number of admissions in the county in The number of indoor marijuana plants seized in Clackamas County rose over 30 percent from 2010 (700) to 2013 (928). Outdoor plants seized in the county in 2013 totaled 403. The number of medical marijuana cardholders reported in October 2013 (4,143) was more than five times the number in April 2006 (723).
