The Circumpolar map adopted by UNEP [United Nations Environment Programme] in respect of the International Polar Yeart 2008/9 and used by the Canadian government in all Arctic negotiations .

Northern Periphery Programme 2007 - 2013 This is the NPP area which is almost all above the 55 parallel – which marks the internationally recognised circumpolar area. Say what the NPP is duration value etc etc
