WHAT ARE NOUNS? Nouns name people, places, things, ideas, and animals. Nouns can be put into 2 groups: singular nouns, and plural nouns.

SINGULAR NOUNS Singular nouns are nouns that name only one thing.

PLURAL NOUNS Plural nouns, however, name more than one thing.
