Presentation transcript:

How do I get started? Start with a question about a topic that interests you.

State your HYPOTHESIS… Your Hypothesis should reflect what you think your experiment will prove or disprove.

Materials You should provide a detailed list of all materials that were needed to complete your experiments.

Procedures You should next list all the steps (in order) that you did to complete your experiments. This should be listed so clearly that someone else could easily read your procedures and do the same experiment. Photos are a great way to illustrate your procedures!

Results Collect all that you have learned by doing your experiments and graph or explain your results. Photographs or samples of any data help to illustrate your findings.

Conclusion What did you discover from your experiments? Did you prove or disprove your hypothesis?

Completed project The presentation board should show all the steps to the Scientific Method.

Helpful Tips Neatness counts. Do your best work. Follow the timetable and work on your project a little at a time. DO NOT put this off to the last minute. Keep great notes of all you discover. Have Fun… You are thinking like a scientist!
