Diet Blue whales main food is krill. Sometimes they eat copepods and zooplankton. They eat about 4 tons of krill a day. They also consume small fish, crustaceans and squid.

Features The blue whale is the largest animal known to earth. They weigh about 200 tons. They are about 100 feet long. That is their size compared to a bus.

They live in the light yellow area.

Facts  Type: Mammal  Diet: Carnivore  Life Span: years  Size: ft. long  Weight: 200 tons  Group name: Pod  They are endangered  Did you know? When a blue whale exhales, the spray from his blowhole can reach about 30 feet.

Diet They eat mainly small fish, squid and crustaceans, like the blue whale. Their fish vary from tuna to mackerel to mullet. They usually hunt in pods. They circle/trap their food and attack. They often hunt alone too.

Facts  Type: Mammal  Diet: Carnivore  Life span: years  Size: ft.  Weight: 1100 lbs  Did you know? Bottlenose dolphins have been observed to jump up out of the water and splash back on their sides.

Diet Manatee calves drink their mothers milk. Older manatees eat water grasses, weed and algae. A manatee can eat a tenth of their body weight within 24 hours.
