Reasons And Facts: What are Reptiles to most people? To many people, snakes are the most hideous, horrendous, slimy belly crawler that doesn’t deserve to live. This is one of the many reptiles that people think are dangerous. Others reptiles that people are afraid of include lizards, frogs, and turtles. According to the survey we took, about half the class thought that reptiles were dangerous and gross looking.

Reasons And Facts: Why People Might Be Scared The fact that people think some reptiles are dangerous may make them think that all reptiles are dangerous. With the exception of crocodiles, some snakes and some lizards, all other reptiles are harmless. The description of reptiles can make people scared of them because they are described as slimy, aggressive, and bumpy.

Argument Many people think that reptiles are gross and mean. They think this because of their sometimes scary and gross appearance. Since some reptiles are viscous and willing to attack, they might think all reptiles are like that.

Counter Argument We know that almost all reptiles are harmless. If people would understand that reptiles are safe we might learn more about them and the environment. Knowing that most reptiles aren’t dangerous we can be more comfortable with them and all of nature.

Closing We recommend that you shouldn’t be afraid of reptiles by accepting who they are or trying to become closer to them. By this we can learn and understand them and all of nature.

Facts on Some Reptiles!! 1.Snakes: Only a few snakes are actually poisonous/deadly. Most snakes eat other animals but that’s about all they can do. (NO HUMANS) 2.Lizards: Lizards have many false defenses because they cant defend themselves with violent attacks 3.Frogs: Similar to lizard defenses, frogs cant attack and can only hide or camouflage.
