What is Bell’s Palsy? A disorder that impacts normal function of muscles on the face Cranial Nerve VII (The Facial Nerve)

What is the cause of this disorder? Some type of outside pathogen The cause is currently being thoroughly studied

Effects of Bell’s Palsy Paralysis Caused by inflammation of the facial nerve Distortion of one side of face Difficulty opening one eye, chewing, eating, etc.

Treatments If this disorder is treated early, all or most of the side effects will subside Corticosteroids Physical Therapy Acupuncture
