 Over 7.3 million selected a qualified health plan through the marketplace nationally  4.8 million newly on Medicaid or CHIP In Pennsylvania:  Over 318,000 people enrolled through the marketplace  Who enrolled? -30% under years of age; 50% years of age -54% female, 46% male -73% signed up for a Silver plan (8% a Bronze) Results of the 1 st Open Enrollment Period

 Residents of SE PA were far more likely to choose a plan on healthcare.gov than people in other parts of the state.  Research found people were much more likely to enroll when they had face-to-face help.  5-county area accounted for 46.7% of all those enrolled in PA  Highest enrollment statewide was Upper Darby, PA.
