How do I set up a volunteer watercraft inspection program?

Boat Landing Message: zInspect and remove any visible mud,plants, fish or animals before transporting. zDrain water from your equipment before transporting. zDispose of unwanted bait in the trash. zSpray/rinse with high pressure, and or hot water. zDry for atleast 5 days.

Spotting a Violation zExplain the dangers of invasive plants. zDiscuss the prevention steps. zHelp remove plants. zRequest a sample and get location of prior waterbody. zRespect boaters’ wishes.

Keeping records zDetermine traveling patterns of recreational users. zIdentify types of recreational equipment. zInventory boater knowledge of invasive species.
