Painter, Sculptor, Inventor

  Leonardo was thinking centuries ahead of his time when inventing. He designed a plane, tank, machine gun, water-walking shoes, parachute, etc. Unfortunately, many of his inventions were never finished. Inventions

  Leonardo lived from 1452 to He grew up in Florence, Italy and lived during the Renaissance Era. At the age of 15 he was apprenticed to the Italian artist, Andrea del Verrocchio. He traveled all over Italy in places like Rome, Florence, and Milan. He created works of art for all the greatest castles, palaces, and churches all over Italy. Life
