 Advantage of alcohol:  It can measure a low temperature  It can measure the temperature precisely  Its expesion is regular  Disadvantange of alcohol:  It cannot measure a high temperature  It makes wet the wall of its place  It is colourless so it must be given dyestuff in orderto be visible

 Advantage of mercury :  It is visible, because its colour is silvery shining  Its expansion is regular  It does not make wet the wall of its  Disadvantage of mercury :  It cannot measure very low temperature  Mercury is poisnous  Its prize is very high

 This thermometer is usually used to measure a human body temperature. The tube of the thermometer is filled with mercury. The scale of the thermometer is designed from 35’ C until 42’ C, considering the human body temperature never lower than 35’ C and never higher than 42’ C.

 This thermometer is used to measure a room temperature. Usually, the thermometer is set on straight position on the wall in a room. This wall thermometer of the measurement scales, those are Celcius and Fahrenheit scales.

 This thermometer is used to measure a maximum temperature, mainly inside glass house used for plantation as research object. The thermometer was found by James six ( ) an english scientist in the last of 18 th century then it developed by Angelo bellani.

TThis thermometer is usually used to measure a human body temperature. The thermometer is filled with mercury. This thermometer is used to bathock. Usually this thermometer used to babby.
