The Big Truck By: Ken Lash

The Big Truck By: Ken Lash

One day, early in the morning, Redneck Joe Jr. wanted to go mudding with his friends Billy, Jerrod, and Case. So, they got Redneck Joe Jr.’s big truck and drove off.

Red Neck Joe Jr. does not care.

They drove off to the mountains to find a mud hole. They got lost in the wilderness and the big truck got scratched up, but Redneck Joe Jr. did not care.

They were driving until they finally found a mud hole. Bill got out to lock the hubs on the truck which put the truck in four-wheel drive.

Redneck Joe Jr. was blazing through the mud like two raccoons in a garbage can. Then, Jerrod went through the mud on the international tractor just for fun. Bill got into the Big Truck and got stuck in the mud.

So, Bill got the chains, hooked them up to the truck and tried to pull it out. Bill buried the tractor in the mud-- wheels high! So he tried again, and he got the truck out.

Then it was Case’s turn to go through. He was scared to go in the mud because he’s a germ phobic. Redneck Joe Jr. persuaded him to go. Case tried to get into the truck, but he fell on his head—OUCH! Then, he got back up.

Next, he got a ladder to get up to the big truck. He was in the truck and Redneck Joe Jr. was with him since Case is a germ phobic. He also buckled up for safety. He started the big truck and floored it. VROOM! VROOM!

As soon as Case hit the mud, the mud flew up to the window and covered it. Case could not see, so he floored the truck and it felt like it was moving.

So Redneck Joe Jr. opened the door and saw they weren’t moving. Redneck Joe Jr. told Case, “Floor it!” Case floored it too hard and for a long time. Suddenly, Case and Redneck Joe Jr. heard a BOOM!

Case called Bill to pull him out. Next, he took the truck to the garage to get fixed. Redneck Joe Jr. ordered a bigger motor for the big truck. So Case, Bill, Jerrod and Redneck Joe Jr. all worked together to get the job done.

I’m Ken Lash and I’m a junior at the Lawrence County Career and Technical Center. My home school is Mohawk, and I am enrolled in electrical occupations. I ride in big trucks, and I would like to dedicate this book to the “Chevy Company.”
