FAO/EBRD COOPERATION  since 1994, mostly with EBRD’s Agribusiness team  focus on private agribusiness development  ~ 120 assignments  cost-sharing agreement: 30% FAO - 70% EBRD

N EW AREA OF WORK  2013: collaboration expanded to include EBRD’s Energy Efficiency and Climate Change Team  Objective: promoting investment in more efficient use of water, biomass, land, energy in ETC and SEMED regions  FAO’s technical support happens through:  normative/analytical activities  technical assessments at country-level  capacity building and policy dialogue
