Overview Clash of Clans is an epic combat strategy game where you can build your village, train your troops and battle with millions of other players online. It is multiplayer mode game that pits players against both artificial-intelligence characters and real-world opponents. You must be at least 13 years of age to play or download Clash of Clans. Clash of Clans is an addictive mixture of strategic planning and competitive fast- paced combats. Raise an army of Barbarians, War Wizards, Dragons and other mighty fighters. Join a clan of players and rise through the ranks, or create your own Clan to contest ownership of the Realm. Driving back the goblins is just the first step - your quest isn't over until your clan reigns supreme over all others.

Logistics Build your village into a undefeatable fortress. Battle with players worldwide and take their Victory Points. Join together with other players to form the ultimate Clan. Fight against rival Clans in the epic Clan Wars. 15 unique units with multiple levels of upgrades. Defend your village with Cannons, Towers, Mortars, Bombs, Traps and Walls. Fight against the Goblin King in an epic campaign through the realm.

Strategy 1. Develop a war oriented clan! Make sure potential applicants know that your clan takes wars seriously. Post it in the clan info, and brief new members on your expectations of them when they join. 2. Encourage Each Clan Member to 'Earn' Their Spot in Upcoming Wars If your clan numbers are not a multiple of 5, there will always be at least one person (at the bottom) left out. This encourages players to push for a few more trophies, so that they can be included in the next war- and players that are pushing trophies are practicing.

Strategy 3. Encourage Clan Members to Practice Attacking! Keep an eye on the number of attacks won in each player's profile. If a player is not winning attacks, and not earning stars in wars, then it may be time for a heart-to- heart. 4. Keep Track of Success / Failure From War to War I've found that keeping a spreadsheet of war results is very helpful, especially since war details only remain in the log for two wars. It's important to see if there are any members that are consistently not using one or both of their attacks and consistently failing to win any stars in wars.

Strategy 5. Reward Success! 6. Don't Punish Failure Those who are especially heroic/successful on the war battlefield should be recognized for it! Either with promotions, names in the clan info for a day, a clan e- mail, or simply mentioning it in clan chat. A little positive reinforcement can go a long way. 6. Don't Punish Failure Do your best not to put too much pressure on clan members to win attacks in war. The addition of the war log has made many players much more nervous when attacking. Knowing that all of your clan members can see what happens, whether you choose so share the replay or not, can be distressing. Encourage your members simply to try, win or lose. You can see if they truly care about attacking by watching for improvement and total attacks won in their profile each season.

Strategy 7. Coordination is Key 8. Bring Specialized Armies If a clan member has failed on an attack on a particular opponent, encourage others to watch the replay for information that could help them, should they choose to tackle the same opponent next. At the very least, they should be able to see where the bombs, traps, and Teslas are, as well as know what to expect from the Clan Castle. 8. Bring Specialized Armies The one huge advantage to Clan Wars versus regular battles is the fact that you know which base layout you will be attacking before you begin. This way, you can create the perfect troop composition for the attack, based upon things like wall levels, defensive structure placement, Clan Castle troop selection (from #7), Heroes' level, and X-Bow and Inferno Tower settings.

Strategy 9. Max Your NSPA (New Stars Per Attack) Strongly encourage clan members not to attack a village that has already been one- starred, until all villages have received at least one star. 10. Encourage Members to Attack the Strongest Opponent They Feel Comfortable With The Clan War will always give a 'suggested opponent", but this isn't always the best strategy. This is especially true in clans where not all members have the same level troops or Town Hall. Also, certain members may feel much more comfortable attacking a specific type layout than another. Confidence is a key towards victories!

Strategy 11. Start Wars When Much of the Clan is Online By doing this, you create a positive, war-oriented atmosphere. As the war starts, members' excitement builds, and they are eager to step out on the battlefield and win some stars for the clan! 12. Build an Early, Demoralizing Lead (if possible) Jumping out to a huge lead in stars won can often demoralize the opposing clan! If they see they are far, far behind, their attacks may be lacklustre, or they may not even complete many of their attacks.

Strategy 13. Make Sure Members are Using Their Attacks Encourage clan members to let leadership know if they are going to be unavailable during a clan war. That way, they can temporarily drop from the clan during the Clan War selection process, and allow other active players to participate. You can't win a star if you don't attack! It's better to have an overmatched player give it a try than to have a higher level player simply not use his or her attacks. Another helpful way to ensure this is to build a way for members to contact each other outside of the game.. 14. Make Sure the Clan Castles are Filled Properly If at all possible, make sure all clan castles are filled with the highest level troops possible. If this means only a few of your top members will be filling clan castles, encourage them to do so.

Strategy 15. Scout, Scout, Scout 16. Look for Similar Bases Use preparation day! Take this 24 hours to have players look over the opponents' bases, and discuss strategies in clan chat! Be specific. Collaborate with other members to create a winning troop mix and plan of attack. 16. Look for Similar Bases Often an opposing clan will have several members with exactly the same village layout (or very similar). Once one has been defeated, the replay can be used as a reference for all other clan members.

Experience Exciting Time Consuming Not Challenging

Process 1. Save Your Gems When you start playing Clash off Clans, you begin with 500 gems. By the end of the tutorial, you end up losing nearly 50 gems by completing structures instantly as instructed by the tutorial. If you instead save your gems, you will be able to add extra builders at a quicker rate. Here are the costs for each builder: Builder 2: 250 gems (you add this during the tutorial) Builder 3: 500 gems Builder 4: 1000 gems Builder 5: 2000 gems While builders 4 and 5 are a long ways off, builder 3 is achievable relatively quickly if you save your gems. Extra builders allow you to construct more buildings at once and as a result are very helpful. With the new Clan War achievements and a trophy push, you can unlock the 4th builder within a few months of playing even without purchasing anything. The 5th builder will require a major Trophy push (to Champion’s League) or more time to unlock some of the other achievements.

Process 2. Use Cheap Units One of the biggest mistakes new players make is not considering the cost of the units they use to battle. While Giants are great, they also cost a lot more to use than Barbarians. At higher levels, Dragons are great, but they cost a lot more to use than Giants. There is also the time factor to consider. While Wizards are stronger than Archers, they not only cost more to make, but each Wizard requires 8 minutes. Meanwhile, you could create 4 Archers in less than two minutes (Wizards are a 4- supply unit). As a result, when your primary goal is to save up resources, you need to make an effort to use cheap units that are quick to produce. Process 3. Only Use Spells When Necessary Just like units, spells are very expensive and take a while to produce. While they can be very effective, you need to make sure that the battle you are fighting warrants the use of such a spell. You should know that the Rage Spell starts at 23,000 elixir and the Healing spell starts at 15,000 elixir; each time you use these spells, you need to be sure that using the spell will allow you to earn at least an additional 15k or 23k resources (spell depending).

Process 4. Slowly Upgrade Your Town Hall The Town Hall “loot penalty” is one of the most important things to know about in Clash of Clans, yet it is not a publicly advertised feature in the game. It is not even mentioned during the tutorial or anywhere in the game, yet it is extremely important to how the game plays out.

Process 5. Start Matchmaking Early When you first start playing Clash of Clans, you get a three-day shield. However, thanks to the previously-mentioned Loot Penalty, very few players will want to attack you even if you drop your shield. As a result, you can start matchmaking right away when you need resources with no fear of reprisal. You can skip around and look for a base with exposed resource collectors and use a handful of Barbarians, Goblins, or Archers to attack them. Even if you do get attacked, low-level Town Hall players have very little to lose. You will only lose a tiny bit of resources that can be more than made up for with a single attack

Process 6. Use the “Next” Feature Frequently When farming either resources or trophies, you should always be skipping around with the “next” button in order to find the perfect base to attack. It only costs a tiny bit of gold to jump to the next base, so make sure you have a good base before you spend all your units attacking one. Also, be careful never to spend every last bit of gold you have on an upgrade. You need to save some gold in order to be able to use the “next” ability to continue farming!

Process 7. Put the Clan Castle in the Centre of Your Base The Clan Castle is perhaps the best defensive structures in Clash of Clans, but only if you place it in the centre of your base. The way the structure works is that when enemy units enter the Clan Castle’s range (it has a very long range), the units will pour out of the Clan Castle and attack the enemy’s attacking units. Note that your Clan Castle troops are capable of hopping over your own walls. If you place the Clan Castle outside of your base, the enemy can simply lure away the units inside the Clan Castle and easily kill them out of range of your towers. If you keep the Clan Castle inside your base, the enemy will have to take damage from both your Clan Castle units as well as your defensive structures in order to take out your base.

Process 8. Focus on Dark Elixir Once you reach Town Hall 7 and beyond, your limiting resource will always be Dark Elixir. Through normal play, you typically will max out all gold and elixir-based upgrades long before you acquire enough Dark Elixir to max out your heroes and Dark Barracks troop upgrades. As a result, you need to place a priority on Dark Elixir above all other resources, saving your spells and hero units for when you stand to gain a large chunk of Dark Elixir.
