Mission: Gods Web Quest Egypt

Remember! You are on a research mission. The University or Museum you work for is sending you on a all expense paid sabbatical to Egypt. You will research various areas of Egypt history, geography, and more! Remember to keep adding to your journal as you travel. Once you complete each mission, you will receive a stamp in your passport.

Introduction: Egyptian Gods The ancient Egyptians believed in many different gods and goddesses. Each one played their own role in maintaining peace and harmony in Egypt. Some gods and goddesses took part in creation, floods, protection, or afterlife. Local gods and goddesses also existed. Some represented towns, plants or animals. Ancient Egyptians felt it important to recognize and worship these gods and goddesses to maintain a smooth and peaceful life.
