Theodor Seuss Geisel “Dr. Seuss”

Dr. Seuss Was raised in Springfield, Massachusetts His first children’s book was “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street!” Geisel published 46 children’s books He liked to use imaginative characters, rhyming, and frequent use of anapestic meter. Geisel’s works have laid forth many works such as,11 television specials, four feature films, a Broadway musical, and four television series

I think that Dr. Suess is an amazing children’s author. He was so imaginative and creative with his work. His books are fun and easy to read and the illustrations are awesome! I love how he uses rhyming in his work and his use of colors.

Green Eggs and Ham Green Eggs and Ham is my favorite Dr. Seuss book Green Eggs and Ham is about a man names Sam-I- Am and another man with no name who is the narrator. Sam-I-Am asks the narrator to try the green eggs and ham until the very end of the book when the narrator finally tries them and ends up liking them. This book uses a lot of rhyming and that’s what I like it so much. I also love the illustrations.
