February 26, 2013 In lab 203 all week Make sure you’ve signed up with advisor for March portfolio presentation date/time. Portfolios due March 13 th !! Priority One : write your senior reflection essay (a combo of your 10 truths and life map lessons). It needs to be a 2-3 page, double spaced, reflection of your growth, achievements, learning experiences, values and talents! Use specific examples in your own style and voice. Priority Two: Assemble chapters 1-3 of your senior portfolio. I’d like to collect your portfolio draft today/tomorrow : binder, page protectors, dividers, evaluation sheets (unsigned is fine), chapter 1 (artifacts, self-reflection), chapter 2 (post secondary plan, transition documents), chapter 3 (history of learning*or placeholders for documents you still need to get). You can include chapter 4 if you want, but I’m not going to really look at it. Priority Three: edit, revise, reprint your Auburn Community Scholarship and Booster Club applications. You will turn in two copies of the Auburn Community Scholarship (including your recommendation letters) to the career center by March 29 th. Print a third copy of your Auburn Community Scholarship application and attach it to the Booster Club application – this counts at the complete application for the ARHS Booster Club. Priority Four : start researching potential scholarships. Our next assignment will involve scholarship research and applications. Check out the $$ for school link on the career center's page.
