Quantitative Data Quantitative Research focuses on using numbers to explain the relationships between variables (like an experiment). Tries to make these relationships universal. Quantitative Data is just presenting research using numbers. 12% of high school relationships end up in marriage. Distinguish between qualitative and quantitative Data

Qualitative Data Goes beyond simple numerical data. It is descriptive. Does NOT often begin with a hypothesis, but rather generates a hypothesis based on its findings. Does not mean that it is never quantified at the end. Distinguish between qualitative and quantitative Data
