Concept Proposal: Ambient Critical Response Infant Bassinet (ACRIB) An in-home, post hospital infant bassinet Non-obtrusive oxygenation monitoring Ambient oxygenation increase function which dynamically responds to the monitor reading or a command sent from the applet Alerts and updates via iPhone/iPod applet, or website. Wireless technologies (bluetooth or something similar) to connect the communication/reception modules Monitored heat production to improve babies comfort.

Purpose: Provide piece of mind for mother and comfort for child post hospital stay. Increase newborn child safety in general in the home during sleep Decrease SIDS or smothering due to low oxygenation Decrease sickness due to low body temps.
