Spanish Verbs 101 What is a verb? The part of speech/sentence that is an action word; something that’s taking place. Usually in English, verbs end with –ing But, we will be learning present tense verbs that mean “to do” something. Such as to run, to eat.

Let’s review pronouns! Pronouns are words that you can use in place of a noun. For example: I, he, she, you, we, they John ran. He ran Julia and I studied. We studied. These are going to be very important when learning verbs in Spanish!
