God’s Gift of Love

When you want to give your spouse, your children, your family, your friend, a gift, you have to make a lot of thinking … how can my gift give happiness to that person?

That’s exactly what God did when He created Adam and wanted to give him a LOVELY GIFT….

So God created the woman, for the happiness of mankind, exactly the same way you think of getting a gift for the person you love.

But why did HE create us in the first place….. The main reason is

Our Lord is THE GREATEST ENERGY OF LOVE HE LOVED US, THIS IS WHY HE CREATED US ON HIS IMAGE AND LIKENESS…. AN ENERGY OF LOVE

However, God created man and woman having TWO NATURES Body + Soul God created Man and Woman to live in a state of LOVE, using both Body + Soul/Spirit

The spiritual and physical expression of that God created in Man and Woman from day one = SEX

So our Lord wanted Human Beings to enjoy SEX in a Love relationship …. MAN WOMAN

He then ordered them to live in LOVE + UNION

LIVING IN HARMONY + IN UNITY AND IN LOVE So there was GOD MAN WOMAN LIVING IN HARMONY + IN UNITY AND IN LOVE

God gave man ONE COMMANDMENT “DON’T EAT FROM THIS FRUIT OTHERWISE YOU WILL DIE…” (death here is being separated from The Lord) But …. both of them disobeyed

At this same moment … They were no longer ONE with the LORD They betrayed HIS LOVE They broke the UNION between them and the LORD, by the SIN of THEIR DISOBEDIENCE…. And MAN felt NAKED

When MAN’s BODY got disgraced and corrupted by Disobeying the Lord … (SIN), this body was doomed to DEATH But our LORD who is full of LOVE, wouldn’t leave us to suffer far away from HIM…. HE planned to bring us back to our original state of UNION & Happiness with/in HIM…

HE MADE a GREAT ACT OF The ONLY WAY that OUR BODIES could be MADE HOLY ONCE MORE …. Was through … Jesus Christ HIMSELF taking up OUR BODIES … our flesh Coming to us on EARTH to RESTORE our FALLEN NATURE and FALLEN BODIES

When Jesus came to our earth and took our OWN FLESH … HE made our bodies HOLY ONCE MORE…

But our Lord gave us ONE other COMMANDMENT Sex is NOT TO BE PRACTICED EXCEPT IN MARRIAGE … Christ calls it: Holy Matrimony

It is a return to the original state of Heaven GOD MAN WOMAN LIVING IN HARMONY + IN UNITY AND IN LOVE + IN HOLY MATRIMONY

This is what does Christianity tell us about our bodies. Christianity tells us that our … body is Holy …

But why is my body holy? My Body is HOLY because 1 – It is the work of GOD… He made it 2 – Christ came in flesh and took our same Body 3 - Our Body receives the Holy Sacraments

1 – My body is the work of GOD HE MADE IT … in HIS LIKENESS … & HE is HOLY … Therefore my body is HOLY Let’s see what the Bible tells us: "Then God said, let us make man in our image according to our likeness …”Genesis 1:31 When God created everything that He made, He saw that it was very good… Genesis 1:26-29

2- Christ came in flesh and took my same body "The word became flesh and dwelt amongst us…" (John 1 :14) Even after Ascending, our Lord chose to continue dwelling in our bodies, through His Holy Spirit which we receive from the very first moment we are BAPTIZED!!! This is HIS WILL and HIS DECISION from the very BEGINNING, and HE SURELY IS INSISTING ON IT For HE LOVES US and wants to be with us ALL the TIME

3- My body receives the Holy Sacraments Sacrament means that God is using a physical object to SANCTIFY it = to MAKE IT SACRED 1 – In Baptism (He makes water holy & makes US HOLY) 2 – In Communion (He makes bread and wine holy & makes US HOLY) 3 – In Holy Matrimony (He makes the relationship between Husband and Wife HOLY)

What does the LORD tell us in His Bible? "Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; Therefore glorify God in your body." (1Corinth 6:19)

Glorifying Our Bodies… How? The goal we have to put ahead of us is that God’s will is not just abstaining from wrong, but our PURITY and HOLINESS

The body is like anything else in the world… It is two-sided, you can either: Use it in accordance to God's will (SEX IS TO BE PRACTICED ONLY WITHIN MARRIAGE) or Abuse it in an evil manner (do whatever you wish and practice sex as we like, disregarding what the LORD tells us)

What happens when we Abuse our Bodies We show…disrespect … hatred …scorn … to our bodies To the other person and… MORE IMPORTANTLY To God, our LORD, who LIVES INSIDE US through His Holy Spirit that teaches us Love and Holiness

But … What does Jesus want…. Jesus wants us to be in full control over our bodies … As it is said, the Lord will punish men for all sins We have been warned that He is the ‘avenger’ …especially in this sin

Now, IS IT possible for me AFTER KNOWING ALL THIS to disgrace this body…. WHETHER MINE OR SOMEONE ELSE’S !!! OUR BODIES HAVE TO REMAIN HOLY

Sex is an energy of Love…not Lust So Sex in human beings is one of the ways of explaining how our God is “A God of Love” What do you think was God’s aim in putting that love energy inside us? The answer is : So that human beings can express their LOVE to one another and reach a state of UNITY together WITH and IN HIM

When God created Man, as explained in Genesis … the second page goes straight to marriage .. as the Bible says … “Therefore a MAN shall leave his father and mother and be united to his WIFE, and they shall become ONE FLESH.” (Genesis 2: 24)

Our Lord compared the relationship between Christ and the Church… to that between a HUSBAND and WIFE … Saying: “Just as Christ loved the Church, each MAN must love his WIFE…” Husband and WIFE become ONE.. WITH and IN the LORD JESUS CHRIST.. Who BLESSES and SANCTIFIES their RELATIONSHIP

SEX in Marriage Vs. in Adultery The result of Holy Body + + Real Love In the LIGHT The target is Unity Life-Long Commitment & Pledge Satisfaction Sacrifice God IS There The result of False Passion + Lust In the DARKESS The target is Pleasure Very Temporary Has no commitment Frustration Selfishness God is NOT There

GOD SEX IS HOLY ADAM EVE Husband Wife

Now, the WHOLE WORLD around me may tell me Well …. It’s OK… this is what EVERYBODY else is doing…. Why NOT that I too live like the rest of the people around me… This is the way things are going on.. so why should I BE DIFFERENT!!!

Well My Friend … here is the MAIN ISSUE why should you BE DIFFERENT! YOU are A CHRISTIAN…YOU ARE DIFFERENT… Christ came to YOU on EARTH so that HE shows YOU that YOU SHOULD BE DIFFERENT

HE Suffered ON THE CROSS and DIED so that YOU BECOME DIFFERENT

HE ROSE from the dead to show YOU that YOU TOO CAN RISE from YOUR sins and LIVE A DIFFERENT LIFE A LIFE ACCORDING TO HIS WILL HIS WILL IS YOUR PURITY & YOUR HOLINESS

HE OFFERES YOU HIS FLESH and BLOOD to eat and drink in COMMUNION so that YOU should be DIFFERENT and HOLY

How do I keep my body HOLY? PRAY AND ASK FOR JESUS CHRIST’S HELP & the Grace of His HOLY SPIRIT, that is inside YOU

REPENT … HE IS ALWAYS READY TO ACCEPT YOU

AVOID ANYTHING THAT CAN LEAD TO SEXUAL IMMORALITY

BE READY TO EXERT A LOT OF Hard Efforts Be always busy … Have self esteem Play lots of Sports Consecrate your senses Love God PRAY … PRAY … PRAY For it is HE who will be able to give you the TRUE SUPPORT and HELP

Have the Lord always between you… He will always protect you from any harm and bless your lives to stay HOLY
