4K Program Information Kids Express Learning Center

Overview Kids Express Learning Center offers 4-year-old preschool following the NAEYC early childhood education standards. Children maintain friendships and continuity here on the Kids Express campus while receiving the same quality early childhood educational experience. Our portfolios reflect children’s progress according to NAEYC’s early childhood education standards.

Curriculum Kids Express Learning Center’s curriculum for our 4K program follows NAEYC’s early childhood educational guidelines and learning standards. Graduates of Kids Express Learning Center’s 4K program enter public school at accelerated levels, with some children qualifying for gifted and talented programs.

Instruction Students are provided with instruction in areas identified by NAEYC for early childhood education, including:  Mathematical and Scientific Thinking  Literacy, Language and Communication  Social/Emotional Development  Health/Physical Development Students also engage in sports, music, and nature studies.

Classrooms & Teachers Multiple classrooms offer 4K on the Kids Express Learning Center campus. Two teachers lead each 4K classroom. Children will receive the same quality care and standards-based instruction the entire day

Transportation Kids Express Learning Center believes in building strong relationships with children and families. Drop-off and pick-up times allow for direct communication and consultation between Kids Express Learning Center staff and families.

Before/After School Your child may attend before or after school in addition to our 4K program We now offer a School-Age After School program for children in kindergarten through fifth grade
