Langas į ateitį is a Society modernization initiative launched by private business companies in 2002 Mission - to promote the use of internet in Lithuania encouraging society to use e-services and in this way stimulate the growth of the standard of living, as well as Lithuania ’ s competitive ability among European and World countries Members: OMNITEL, Swedbank, SEB bankas, IT company ATEA Partners: Ministry of Interior, Microsoft Lietuva, public relations company PR Service, law firm LAWIN and Public Policy and Management Institute Langas į ateitį (Window to the Future) background

Langas į ateitį became a stimulator in PIAP development in Integrating private, state and ERDF a net of over 800 PIAPs was established till 2008

The Rolling Snowball Model: From Idea to Massive Movement EU Structural Funds provided conditions to extend the planned initiative to the large scale.
