Endangered Animals By: Frankie D, Margie D and Allison R
Human Impact is bigger than you think... As humans, the dominant species on earth, we often take little time to think about the thousands of others species we share the earth with. Human industry has a huge impact on the environment, and on the organisms living around us. So let's take a look at some affected animals...
Everyday we carelessly endanger defenseless animals
Why It Matters! Personally, I love animals. And I think they should be rewarded for not being people. I hate people.
The Cause The cause of endangered animals is loss of habitat, loss of genetic variation, vulnerable species (population reduction and geographic range), population unable to expand and population size.
The Problem The problem that we are dealing with are endangered animals. They are becoming endangered because we are taking away their natural environment to expand ours.

Environmental Impact We depend on the cycle of life. Like trees making oxygen for us, and us making carbon for trees. Human impact is affecting the survival of certain species that are important to keep the circle of life going!
Possible Outcomes... One is that the endangered animals/species become extinct. The second possible outcome is that the species survives.
Other human interferences Human actions such as deforestation, construction, and development are part of what hurts endangered animals. It's not only things like hunting animals, we can endanger them by destroying their habitats.
Ways we can help... Donating money to organizations who are dedicated to help animals Protect natural habitats such as national parks, natural reserves, and build homes for animals Conserve water Compost all food to decrease the use of chemical fertilizers Carpool or ride bike Recycle Buy organic foods
Impact on Biogeochemical Cycles The problem of endangered animals impacts biogeochemical cycles because animals are usually a key part in these cycles, they transport the key component, for example water, to various locations, thus spreading out the cycle and the nutrients needed, without this spreading of nutrients, ecosystems will not get the supplies and support needed to survive and will die out, leaving the earth a barren, lifeless, wasteland floating through space.
