Test Confirm option is activated Press RECORD for seconds DIAG should appear on screen.
If DIAG does not appear... YOU MUST LOAD THE OPTION
To activate diagnostic quality option... Locate LP 10 programming key
Place battery into slot one. Turn power off Insert LP 10 programming key into AUX port
Turn Power Switch to BATT 1 & Remove key
Verify o01 appears on status display Press ECG SIZE to change option status to o01
Verify 1 appears in upper right screen Press QRS VOL until # 1 appears in upper right screen
Set Option Press CAL, BEEP will sound. Option is now loaded
Confirm option is activated Press RECORD for seconds DIAG should appear on screen.
Obtaining the Diagnostic ECG Go directly to these steps if DIAG option is already activated on your LP10
Place Electrodes
Place Lead Wires
Select Lead 1
Select DIAG option This activates the recorder Press RECORD for seconds DIAG should appear on screen.
Scroll through leads 1,2,3 (recorder will be on)
Watch for baseline to stabilize Obtain one full cardiac cycle for each lead
Leave switch in lead 3 position Manually obtain V-leads
Move from V-1 through V-6
Watch for baseline to stabilize Obtain one full cardiac cycle for each lead
Stop recorder when complete
Mark leads with pen
Cut and Paste ECG
