Portorose, Each activity is designed to place participants in the middle of the experience, preferring a kind of laboratory didactic, which focused on "doing" and on “acting" aimed at learning through the emotional and sensory partecipation, exploration, discovery and play. To lead didactic activities are made available study and reserch instruments, slides, microscopes, individual didactic forms for observation and data collection. There is a strong focus on the principles of active learning, characterized by moments of practical work and direct experimentation, through which combine the need to acquire knowledge and then analyze it, interpret it and rebuild it. In this context of learning:  you explore, you make assumptions, interpreting results: the "learning to learn"  knowledge and contents are revalued as indispensable elements to complete a task  grows curiosity about the study and learning through awareness of “what you do and why it is done”

Evolution and conquest of the flight, recognition of the most common species through the "game of shapes", with the reconstruction of their silhouette. Visit to Camillone, old salt pan handly managed, and to the industrial production factory: harvesting, packaging and salt products.

To the single class (20-25 schoolchildren) of Primary and Secondary school Short description Discovering the mosaic, the maximum expression of the cultural and artistic heritage of Ravenna area, starting from a precious raw material: the salt of Cervia. The tiles, basic element of the most famous decorative technique of Ravenna, will be made ​​ with salt dough; then it will take only hands and a little imagination to give shape to ideas. At the end of the workshop each participant will bring home the work realised.

Portorose, In range of the project will be organized 4 workshops / training sessions addressed to teachers of primary and secondary schools, organized at the 4 Salt Pans. Although the 4 workshops are combined in relation to the specific referential Salt Pan, they will be characterized by a common organizational set-up: Duration: 16 hours organized over 2 days, variable in 4 half days up to partecipants demand. 1st meeting (4 hours) Naturalistic theme: salt pan ecosystem, landscape, animal and plants distinctive of an exteme environment. 2nd meeting (4 hours) Productive theme: salt production techniques, salt pan structure, water circulation and evaporitic cycle phases. Analysis and considerations about salt production in of salt in different ages and places. 3rd meeting (4 hours) Hystoric theme: historic, economyc and social knowledge about importance of salt in history. Visit to salt places. 4th meeting (4 hours) Wine and food theme: typical products related to salt pan and territory. Productive peculiarities, dietary values ​​ and gastronomic memory.
