Un Viaje a España ¡Felicitaciones! You have just been hired as the new travel agent for the Spanish travel agency Extramadura. Your first task is to create an exciting new brochure for young travelers. ¡Buen Viaje! Patricia Brady EDU 505 Winter 2009

Tu Tarea (Your Task) ► First select one of the regions of Spain listed on the map with a red dot that you wish to travel to. ► Go to that region’s info page and explore the web sites. Record all the information you can about activities, lodging, dining, and area attractions. ► Create a brochure in Spanish describing all the fascinating things your region has to offer!

El Proceso (The Process) ► Step 1: Choose a region of Spain from the map provided on the task page. Proceed directly to that region’s slide. ► Step 2: Explore the web sites provided to answer the questions about your selected region’s points of interest for travelers. You may take notes in English, but remember your brochure will be in Spanish. ► Step 3: Using the web sites provided or a search engine compile pictures of your region to include in your brochure. You want your brochure to be appealing! ► Step 4: Compile a rough draft version of your region in Spanish. Share your rough draft with a classmate during peer review for editing. Edit your rough draft and have it approved by Señorita Brady before you begin your final copy. ► Step 5: Compose the final copy of your region’s travel brochure on the word document template provided. Include the pictures you compiled and be sure to check your work before printing!
