Chewing tobacco By: Nick and Josh

The pros The Cons Since the Bans on smoking have gone into effect more people have gave up smoking and when to chewing tobacco because you can't smoke and if you're addicted you need something to hold you over till you can smoke. Even though chewing is proven to be better for you can still get oral cancer, esophageal cancer, and pancreatic cancer.

The Pros The Cons 2. The smoking rate is half of what it was 40 years ago because of bans and everybody going to smokeless tobacco. 2. Using smokeless tobacco may also cause heart disease, gum disease, and oral lesions other than cancer, such as leukoplakia (precancerous white patches in the mouth)

The Pros The Cons 3. Smokeless tobacco is 90-99% less harmful than smoking 4. There has been a drop in lung cancer because people have quit smoking 3. Just because its better doesn't mean you should do it because it still causes cancer. 4. Yes the cancer is dropping but they are still targeting teens and young people.
