Incorporating Quotes into Research Papers

Quotes Using quotes in an essay or research paper is important when making a point or supporting evidence. Therefore, a quote should not just be plopped into an essay to die all alone. A quote needs to be incorporated into a sentence, not incorporated as a sentence.

“Quote Metaphor” Look at a quote as the meat in a sandwich. You need some bread on both sides to pull it off (including sources): Introduction “Quote” End/ Source

To Reiterate Use quotes to enhance, strengthen, and support your research paper. Make sure that quotes are supported within a sentence by introducing it and ending it with words and MLA cited sources.
