YEAR 5/6 EXCURSION BY BENNY, ZAC.H,JAYDEN AND ZAC.S

MILSONS POINT WAS OUR FIRST STOP TO PLAY ON THE PLAY GROUND AND HAVE OUR MORNING TEA MILSONS POINT

AT THE Y HOTEL WE ARRIVED AT THE Y HOTEL AFTER WE HAD OUR MORNING TEA.THE Y HOTEL WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE BECAUSE THE KIDS HAD A ROOM BETWEEN 4 AND WHERE ALOWD TO WALK AROUD AND VISIT OVER KIDS ROOMS BEFOR BED TIME AT THE Y HOTEL

WE WALKED FROM THE Y HOTEL TO HYDE PARK FOR SOME LUNCH. HYDE PARK

THE N.S.W ART GALLERY AT THE N.S.W ART GALLERY WE SPLIT UP INTO 4 GROUPS OF 12 AND HAD A SELF GUIDED TOUROF ALL THE SCULPTURES AND PAINTINGS. THE BOYS OUT THE FRONT OF THE ART GALLERY

STATE PARLIMENT HOUSE At the parliament house we met our local member Mr Greg piper. Then we went to the green room for question time. During question time we got to see Kristina keneally and heard our local member Greg Piper ask his question

At the rocks we got to see some old cottages and a church and had a look in side it The rocks

IMAX At the Imax we saw Hubble 3D it was amazing to see the stars go flying over our shoulders. IMAX

Chinatown At Chinatown the kids had a Delius dinner and a great experience At Chinatown the kids had a Delius dinner and a great experience Chinatown

At the hotel we had our showers and we were allowed to stay up until 10pm THE Y HOTEL

Hyde park barracks At Hyde park barracks we split into 2 groups and got a tour from a nice lady. Firstly we walked in side a big building and we saw a cat of nine tails. After that we walked up the stairs to look at some sculptures. After that we walked down to the hammocks that the convicts slept in.

Manly We had lunch at manly beach after we had finished or lunch we went to the shops at Manly and the teachers said that we could go buy anything we wanted. After we had finished at the shops, we went and got on a ferry to Sydney docks. Manly

Walking across the Harbour Bridge.. When we were walking across the Harbour Bridge it was sunny when we got on the bridge, and then about a quarter over the bridge there was really strong winds and then halfway across the bridge it started to hail, and then there was strong rain. Taronga Zoo!!! After walking across the Harbour Bridge we went to Taronga Zoo. We were split up into the the 2 same groups that we had at Hyde Park Barracks. One group had dinner first while the other group was in a room looking at some reptiles and then when they come out of the room, they had dinner while the other group went into another group to look at some more reptiles. When both groups had finished tea the same groups went into different directions and went for a twilight session of the zoo. After a while, the two groups met up at the same place we had tea and then we got on the bus and went back to school and our parents picked us up and then we went home.
