Why get Involved? O College O Interested in learning about activities you do outside of school that support your interests. For example, if you are interested in becoming a doctor, consider interning or volunteering at a local hospital. Or, if you are interested in Architecture, enroll at a college which offers Architecture classes. O Explore interests! O Real-world experience can give your child a preview of careers in which s/he is interested. O Encourage your child to get involved in meaningful activities that demonstrate interest, commitment, and personal growth. It is advantageous to engage in activities that reflect your personal interests. O Quality is better than quantity.

Where to Find Student & College Opportunities??? O Opportunities are ed out to students and parents via Naviance as they become available. O The opportunities are also filed in the Document Library of Naviance. There is a Student Opportunity Folder & a College Opportunity Folder. O Bulletin Boards.
