Releasing The Power of Praise March 2015: Our Month of Praise & Thanksgiving!

Text: Psalm 67: 5-7

Introduction Praise is of prime importance to the believer, because it is cheapest access to God Almighty. It is also the surest access to the realm of the miraculous. It is the #1 preserver of divine blessings.

Understand that you and I were made to praise Him – Isa. 43:21. Made for Praise Understand that you and I were made to praise Him – Isa. 43:21. Therefore, praise is our purpose. In praising Him, we find fulfillment! Faith draws on God’s faithfulness, but praise, draws on His personality. Psalm 22:3.

TO PRAISE GOD IS TO: Acknowledge Him – Malachi 2:1-2. Acknowledging Him is a command! Be grateful – Deut. 28:47-48. There’s no fruitfulness without gratitude. Gratitude determines altitude! You cannot go higher than you lift Him! Refuse to complain against Him – 1 Cor. 10:10. Complainers end up as convicts!

TO PRAISE GOD IS TO: Give Him thanks – 1 Thess. 5:18. If you are thoughtful, you will discover that there’s always something to thank God for. Nothing finishes in the hands of a thanks-giver! Perfection is obtainable through praise – Luke 17:12-19.

TO PRAISE GOD IS TO: Lift up hands to Him – Hab. 3:17- 19. The cheapest way out of every pit is to raise your hands up in praise to God. He will pull you up to the mountain top.

TARGET-PRAISE WARFARE Whatever will take God only calls for praise. This is praise warfare. Whenever praise is in place, divine presence is compelled. When God steps in, every devil bows out! When God takes over your battles, you become a relaxed winner! Psalm 68:1-4; 92:11; 149:1-9.

You Are Responsible for Praise Psalm 67:3-4. You are the one to make praise happen. The springboard is joy. When you’re intoxicated with joy, it explodes in praises. Generate joy. It takes a glad heart to give acceptable praise.

Understand that it is not just the singing that registers your praise in heaven, it is worshipping and celebrating God from the heart full of joy that moves Him to come down in the midst of your praises.

This will Help You: God is always right. God is ever faithful. If God can’t, then no one else can. If God cannot, no one else should try. God is the end of human search!

Example: 2 Chronicles 20: 21-24. Friend, target-praise warfare brought Judah great victory. This shall be your story from this day forward in Jesus mighty name. Every gang-up of hell against you shall be rooted out by invocation of praise.

Conclusion As you engage in heart-felt praise & thanksgiving, this new month of March and beyond, your days of defeat, frustration, unfruitfulness and stagnation shall be over in Jesus’ name. Whatever Jesus died for and you are yet to experience, you are returning to it from now, in Jesus’ name.

He died for your peace, so welcome to a trouble free life in Jesus’ name. He was bruised for you so you can enjoy sound health; therefore, from this month, soundness shall be your portion. He died for your enthronement; therefore, everything contrary to your lifting are forthwith dethroned in Jesus’ name. Victory is yours, now IJMN.

Now, put on your garment of praise, and celebrate life in Christ Jesus, your Saviour and Lord.

It a New Day for you and all yours in Jesus’ name.

Jesus is Lord.
