 People use fire crackers to celebrate the Chinese New Year.  Sometimes they pray at the temples for thanking the Gods.  Children play traditional games like paper cuttings.  Dragon Dance is popular in the street.

 People eat soups called Won Ton soup.  They eat a lot of sweets, dumplings, bean curds, wines and meats and vegetables. Also, People takes a long time to prepare for the feast.

 People joins in the New years parades and dances dragon dance and some people dresses traditional dresses.  Children does paper cutting and also gets their haircuts.

 Started as praying to the spirits who died a long time ago.  Pray to Buddha, house holding gods and door gods and a lot more.  Now days, the New years are like party, not religious.
