82 nd IETF – Taipei, Taiwan, November 2011 PCEP Extension for WSON Routing and Wavelength Assignment Young Lee (Huawei) Ramon Casellas (CTTC) Fatai Zhang (Huawei) Cyril Margaria (NSN) Oscar González de Dios (Telefonica) Greg Bernstein (Grotto)

82 nd IETF – Taipei, Taiwan, November 2011 Updates from the last version  Editorials  Wavelength Restriction Field sub-TLV Align with [Gen-Encode].  4.3. Signal processing capability restrictions Refine the definition of to align with [WSON-Encode] as follows: ::= [...] where signal-compatibility-restriction ::= |

82 nd IETF – Taipei, Taiwan, November 2011 Updates from the last version  Objective Functions (Add a New Section) The Following new objective functions are defined (Objective Function Codes: TBA). Maximum residual spectrum Description: Find a Path such that ( Max { (s(Li))), i=1...N}) is minimized. Minimize the free spectrum Description: Find a Path such that ( Max { (S(Li)), i=1...N}) is maximized. Maximize the remaining total spectrum. Description: Find a Path such that ( Max { (ST(Li)), i=1...N}) is maximized. Issue: Shall this section be a part of the current draft or be a separate draft?

82 nd IETF – Taipei, Taiwan, November 2011 Next Steps  Adopt to be a WG document  Refine and resolve open issues in the revision
