Business Administration, BS/BBA Program Learning Outcome: Analyze, evaluate, and develop effective leadership skills in a variety of settings.

BUS340 Course Learning Objectives Apply leadership and diversity concepts through critical thinking. Demonstrate leadership skill in a variety of settings including team projects, presentations, cases and learning-in-action exercises. Communicate effectively through the delivery of written and oral presentation.

Measurement Overview DIRECT MEASURES: Evaluation of performance on a previously determined benchmark. – Student is showing you the student can do something with a specific skill or knowledge; – Nationally normed test, essay exam, clinical evaluation, rubric evaluation, juried panels, portfolio of student work, etc. INDIRECT MEASURES (insufficient to stand alone) – Did activity occur? – Self-assessment (perception) of learning – Survey graduates – Internship Evaluations (may be direct or indirect)

Course Learning Outcomes Students demonstrated improved team and leadership skills in a civic engagement learning- in-action project.
