What is Teaching with technology ?

Teaching with technology is one of recent trends in English language teaching. Teaching with technology is a teaching which uses technology in this era.

EXAMPLE Old blackboard in grammar translation method facilities in lab as supporting repitition drill method Modern Laptop or computer is become as teaching tools.

Why should teachers use technology as laptop or computer in teaching?

To facilitate the teachers for searching the materials for the students through exploit website, blog, etc. To make material more interesting to the students by using power point, video, etc. To bring students in modernization because of not only teaching with technology for teachers but also teaching about technology.

How’s the teachers ways in using technology in teaching?

The pedagogical integration of technology in which they are placed for practiculum experiences The future teacher’s degree of computer literacy The pedagogical integration of technology by instructors during university education of future teachers

A future teacher’s expectations of success in integrating technology The value placed on technology by future teachers

The explanation is the advantage in teaching with technology but the other hand, there are some disadvantages in teaching with technology disadvantages

They think with using the technology as laptop or computer is more expensive than teaching with the book or blackboard. Skill in using technology is one of the crucial factors why the teachers be reluctant to use technology as latpop or computer.

Conclusion Indeed, using technology in teaching is not all accepted by the teachers in giving the materials to the students in the classroom. Teaching with technology exactly gives many advantages in teaching however it doesn’t mean no disadvantages. All of this (teaching with technology) returned to the creativity and seriousness of the teacher in teaching.
