The Addax Status: Critically Endangered Threats include uncontrolled hunting and harassment. Population: Less than 300 animals surviving in the wild. Found in Chad, Mauritania & Niger.

Ethiopian Wolf Status: Endangered Threats include loss of habitat (agriculture) and hybridization with domestic dogs. Population: individuals Location: Endemic to the Ethiopian highlands.

Mountain Gorilla Status: Endangered Threats: Habitat loss, poaching, pet trade, and illegal hunting Population: ~680 individuals Location: Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Uganda.

Pygmy Hippopotamus Status: Endangered Threats: Deforestation for farming & logging Population: fewer than 2000 individuals Countries: Endemic to West Africa
