NSCC Online Learning Hybrid Spanish A Web Based Online Course
Course Description Basic communicative proficiency in listening, reading, speaking and writing. Oral practice with Dos Mundos video on CD-ROM.
Learning Objectives To enhance knowledge of conversational Spanish. To practice language standards for language communication such as how to pronounce Spanish words and understand simple written papers in Spanish. To raise the general level of language proficiency focusing on Dos Mundos -Audio Program by understanding the culture of different regions.
Course Outline Introduction to the cultural elements through Interactive CD-ROM. Basic patterns of pronunciation. Talk about your immediate world. Talk about your likes and dislikes. Talk about the details of your daily life. How to communicate with different members of a family. Comparisons between your experience and of others.
Student Level Placement Students will be placed by language proficiency levels. There are available written and oral tests to place the students. To register for Spanish 102, students need to have completed 101 college level.
Course Requirements Regular class participation on campus. One hour Destinos viewing per day. One hour of homework per day.
