What is Gender equity? Gender equality, is also known as sex equality or sexual equality or equality of the genders which implies that men and women should receive equal treatment unless there is a sound biological reason for different treatment.

The effects The effects would be: Giving girls better education Giving communities and even whole countries a better economy. Giving girls education would provide them with better knowledge of diseases, equity, how to get a job to support their families and what else goes on in the world. With electing girls in government a girl would give a different view on the matter than a man, providing more options to help their community. Families would receive better support. Giving girls a sense of purpose. Showing girls how they can change the world and how they matter.

What’s being done to help? There a many charities out there who provide communities support including, food, rights, water and education. These charities also try to promote gender equity. Some of these Charities are: Caritas Red Cross UNESCO Just to name a few. These charities are aiming to help young girls who don’t have the privilege of education because girls have the power to change the world.
