In China By Magnus CHILD LAB  R

People use children as workers because they find it fun and good to get children to do this work, even though that they do it to get rich and to get lots of money by using kids to do work that they don’t want to do, and they die every day because these people (masters) are greedy and all they want is money so the kids go out and collect coal from mines or make fireworks or make shoes, and all they get is cents for doing it.

Slavery is a illegal system under which people are treated as property. Though laws and systems vary, as property, slaves may be bought and sold. Slaves can be held from the time of their capture, they cant refuse to work. There are many different kinds of slavery, but in basic terms, it involves owning someone else. These owned people are called slaves, and they usually have a certain amount of choice about what kinds of things they can take and are normally forced to do some task for another person. a slave becomes another person's property, and he can be used by that person for personal gain. Slavery is illegal in many parts of the world now, including the US, but there are certain types of slavery that are still used today. And that is what I will talk to you about today.

Kids in china are forced to work at different factories such as firework factories. This is one of the most dangerous jobs of all. Kids get burned and killed all the time from the fireworks blowing up in their faces, or gunpowder burns, that is extremely normal for them.

There are a lot of different shoe factories in China like Nike and they use children to make their shoes. There average pay is 30 cents an hour and most kids give the money to their parents so they don’t lose there job. And if they don’t they will get beaten by their masters.

COAL MINING Some kids are forced to go mine coal out of a coal mine and bring it back to their masters from 2:00 AM to 10:00 pm and kids get very sick from breathing in the fumes in the mines and get very tired from bringing in barrels and barrels of coal every day.
