Hotel Security Management and Training

Corporate Profile Recent events around the world illustrate only too tragically the need for enhanced security within the hospitality industry. These events have had a dramatic affect on the industry, and have brought to the forefront the need to face these challenges head- on. However, this emphasis on external security risks must not be allowed to diminish the need for conventional security and safety. The latter must be implemented in an intelligent manner, increasing customer confidence without causing alarm. The HSMT Group is in a unique position to share its many years of experience and know-how, to meet these challenges.

International Activities In 2004, a strategic decision was taken at HSMT to branch out beyond Israel's borders to the international market and, as a result, offices have already been opened in London, Istanbul and Jacksonville, Florida, with initial contacts received from Amsterdam, Bucharest, Nicosia, and Bogotá, Colombia. In addition, HSMT is to begin cooperation with the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland, the oldest and one of the most respected hotel schools in the world.

Corporate Vision  To maintain the position as world leader in safety, prevention and security in the hospitality industry  Dedicated to the highest levels of professional service  To consistently maintain and develop advanced safety and security techniques, and to apply them to the hospitality industry  To continually expand knowledge and understanding of the unique demands of the hospitality industry  To provide a full turnkey solution to the hospitality industry in the areas of safety and security, including consultancy, outsourcing, systems, equipment, and training services.  To show commitment to professional integrity, discretion and loyalty to its clients, and maintenance of close ties with the community.

Modern challenges in the industry Today's hotelier understands that safety and security is now an integral part of the range of services that the hotel provides for its guests. However, to combine the highest levels of safety, prevention and security, together with an understanding of the needs of the hospitality operation, is in itself a challenge. Safety, prevention and security in modern hotels demand knowledge and prior meticulous planning, including the management of professional manpower and operation of advanced safety and security systems. HSMT provides this complex of services under a single roof, thus ensuring the establishment of a first-rate security department, relying on a sound and firm foundation of skilled and reliable manpower, equipment, procedures and regulations, all of the most advanced available.
