Fiji /Class focus Term 2
Fijian Indians informing us About their culture and growing up in Fiji. Why is this important Although indigenous Fijians have a rich cultural heritage and traditions, they share their land with Fijian Indians who identify with India and Fiji. In some instances are culturally more Fijian than Indian because they have lived in Fiji for a few generations.
Beautiful scenery, probably in every Pacific Island. After finding information to support our understandings on Fiji, each class went off to research another Pasifika people, their culture and traditions. Rooms 7 & 9 – Hawaii, Rooms 10 & 17 – Tonga & finally Room 8 - Samoa
Term 3–Production Wk 8 Each class will present their Pasifika learning from Terms 1 and 2 in a performance.
